Personally, I am a big huge fan of MTG. I love it. To make things even better for me my local comic shop is starting up FNM and I hope to go to their first meet this friday.

I also think that the quarreling should stop. But I must say that I have never really understood the rules of yu gi oh. How do you regulate the games so that it isnt over in one turn. I know that magic has the mana system that keeps the games from being too quick but yu gi oh has no such system. Can you explain a little and tell me how they regulate the game speed?

well you really don't regulate game speed. the closest thing it you can only summon one monster per turn (every thing is free compared to MTG, except some select few cards. You can and you only start out with 6 cards, instead of 7.
